RIBERA DEL DUERO

Nabal Winery

Nabal Winery is the fruit of the Navarro Balbas family’s love and respect for wine. This traditional wine family inherits the history and culture of our land.

Nabal Winery is located in the heart of Ribera del Duero in Gumieldelzan, one of the best vineyards on the entire river bank, from which the grapes from the Nabal wines are produced.

Nabal Winery insists on the belief that quality wines are made from quality vineyards, which is why we choose quality grape varieties.

ARLANZA D.O. AREA

Lerma Winery

Lerma Winery belongs to the Arlanza DO producing area (named from the Aranza River flowing through it), in the province of Bruns and the province of Palercia (Castilla y Leon), north of the Douro Valley, bordering the Douro Valley. Northeast and Rioja are bordered by Navarra.

The Arlanza region has some obvious similarities with its famous neighbours Ribera del Duero D.O. (south of Arlanza) and La Rioja D.O. (north Arlanza), such as the use of similar grape varieties: Tanjung. The most striking difference is that the temperature difference between day and night in the Arlanza producing area is significantly greater than in the Ribera del Duero producing area, so the grapes in the Arlanza producing area are late in maturity and in many cases lead to a deeper color of the wine.

RIOJA AREA

Nubori Winery

Founded in 1889, Nuboli Winery is one of the oldest family wineries in the Rioja Quality Producing Area (DOCa Rioja). In recent years, its activities have been extended to other famous Spanish origins, such as the DO Rueda and the DO Rias Baixas.

With a production capacity of more than 3 million bottles per year, our winemakers have a storage capacity of 10 million litres and a 6,000 bottle/hour bottling line, with the finest selection of grapes and wines to maintain the highest quality. Therefore, only 20% to 30% of total production is sold under our brand.

In 1999, the winery was refurbished and upgraded, equipped with the latest advanced technology, and new facilities were introduced in 2005. As a result, our winery has the latest and most advanced facilities in the current wine and wine storage process, enabling us to achieve the highest standards of quality control and traceability in the wine industry (BRC, IFS, 14000).

PRIO LATO AREA

BUIL & GINE Winery

The BUIL GINE family has been inherited for six generations, and the ancestors have been working on this beautiful land of Prio Lato. The slate rocky soil, the mundane rainfall and the complex and extreme topography make the vineyard work extremely difficult. In the past 2000 years, their ancestors have been working hard on this land, so they have accumulated a lot of experience and knowledge about the cultivation of vines, olive trees, almonds, hazelnuts and other crops.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the incumbent’s grandfather, JOAN GINE, served three times as chairman of the Farsett Cooperative and was also one of the founders of the Prio Lato Education Association, which founded a school in Farsett. Elementary school and established the first wine-making school in the Catalonia region.

The father of the current heir served as a director of the Education Association for 12 years in the 1980s and served as the then president of the Prio Lato government in the new Prio Lato movement in the late 1980s.

Therefore, as the sixth generation of the winery’s heirs, I hope to combine the accumulated knowledge with the beautiful vision of the family, and in the most sincere way, by introducing high-quality wines of high quality, charming and temperament in the region, let More people can feel the fascinating landscape of Prio Lato.

RIOJA AREA

VIREI Winery

At the beginning of our century, Miguel Pascual, a true visionary, born amongst vines and passionate about wine, planted a new vineyard on the estate of Sa Bassa Plana, thus recovering and revitalizing the wine making sector in the region of Llucmajor. Convinced of the uniqueness of the conditions of this estate near the sea, he created a state of the art vineyard with enormous potential.

Most of the vineyard was planted in 2012, with indigenous varieties such as Premsal Blanc, Giro Ros, Mantonegro, and Callet, and with the international varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Malvasia, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, totalling 85 hectares. The growing of the vines follows very strict criteria, mostly being done manually from pruning to harvest. The climate in the region is typically Mediterranean, with temperatures averaging 17ºC. Mild winters and hot and dry summers, provide optimum growing conditions for grapes, providing a very typical “terroir” character.

DUERO AREA

Paramo Lygend Winery

Leyenda del Páramo was founded in 2010 by seven partnerswith the objective of elaborating great quality wines from Prieto Picudo, the autochthonous grape from the south ofLeón. This grape is only cultivated in our small corner of theworld, which makes our wines all the more distinctive. Afterseven years, the initial objective has been achieved and ourgoal remains centred on the quality of our wines thanks tothe efforts and commitment of the more than one hundredmembers currently on board the project.

Leyenda del Páramo’s vineyards are located to the northof the Duero river basin, within the region of León, on anarea where the landscape is called El Páramo. Soils are poor, acidic, sandy textured gravel and pebbles at an altitude ofapproximately 900 metres above sea level, right between theEsla and Bernesga rivers. Our climate is theoretically cold Mediterranean, but the altitude and proximity to the Picosde Europa mountain range make it closer to a Continentalclimate.
